Find something to distract you during your workout. Try listening to music or watching television if you exercise at home. Read a book while you ride a stationary bicycle. When you distract yourself you don’t have to focus so heavily on how hard the work your body is doing is. When you have something else to concentrate on, you are more likely to keep working out regularly. Distractions also help you keep boredom at bay. If you get bored while you are working out you are less likely to keep moving and you won’t have the weight loss results that you were hoping for.
